Webinar panelists, including Robert Bajor, CEO and Founder of Micro Credential Multiverse, Sonia Malik, Global Program Director - IBM SkillsBuild, and Angela Consani, CEO and Co-Founder of Bioscience Core Skills Institute (BCSI), shared their expertise on the concept of micro credentials, their implementation in various organizations, the challenges and opportunities in a skills-based hiring landscape, and the importance of micro credentialing in enabling access to the knowledge economy.
The discussion closed with presenters acknowledging the importance of behavior-based interviewing and the potential of micro-credentialing to enhance job skills and employment opportunities. The conversation also touched on the growing policy imperative at the state level to eliminate degree requirements and accept skills-based credentials, with several states already implementing this approach.
