DEIA Insights: Black and African Americans in STEM

As we celebrate Black History Month, we honor the trailblazers who have paved the way and recognize the potential for the African American community to further shape the future of STEM. While we celebrate remarkable achievements, we must also address the challenges in achieving equitable representation and opportunities in STEM fields for African Americans at all levels of education and employment. This one-page report highlights notable African-Americans in STEM, provides statistical data around challenges and gaps, representations and standards, and resources and organizations that support African-Americans in STEM fields.
